I could post some UK screenshots, if you really need. They are inferior, indeed. Although they still look pretty good for a TV series. The PAL speedup with pitch correction is my greater concern, since that is done rather poorly.

For season 1, you'll get the best picture quality on the US release. However, it has a few dropouts, audio is mono only, and there are no extras, which makes it a very poor release.

The best choice by far are the Canada DVDs, which have the second best picture quality, adequate audio and some nice extras. Those old interviews first released on UK VHS are not on them, though.

For season 2, 3 and 4, the Canada release (or US release) also is the best choice. The only thing missing are the commentary tracks on 4 season 2 episodes. Those particular episodes got a really poor video norm conversion for some strange reason. The UK release includes some british TV trailers for LEXX, but those are not exactly a must have addition.

The only difference between Canada and US season 2, 3 and 4 DVDs is the distributor. They use the same cover design with different company logos. The acorn logo is also displayed before the main menu. Everything else is the same.

I have interest in australian release in the first place,
because it come out very later then other,
and I hope that its quality is better then first releases' quality.

Quality of UK releases I have seen, it's worse then NTSC

I'd also like to see, if there is any difference to other PAL releases.

Please remember that the Australian release was censored a little in Season 1 and 3 (not sure of the other seasons).

Also to be aware then PAL R2 release was interlaced (making screen grabs near impossible) not sure if the R4 release was different.

The complete R4 Australian release in the Lexx cylinder tin looks cool though. Almost made me buy the whole series for a second time.

All morn by the Zev I lay
I found her lips pressed to my mouth screen
And welcomed a brand new day
I felt her legs wrapped round my tubing
Squeezing my troubles away

My brother offered to buy me the tin... I regret declining as I already had the series as well. :C

I have Seasons 1, 3, & 4 on R4 DVD. I had Season 2 imported way before the R4 DVD releases, and it has no region coding. :D

If people are still interested, I can get screenshots later tonight. :)
I dun fucked up.

lol I keep forgetting to do it DX

I think most are Interlace. I don't think many Aussie TV's are Progressive Scan compatible.

These are 'as is'. I haven't resized the player at all.

The canadian DVDs are what I have I think. I bought them through a canadian dvd website that no longer exists. So, I bet I haven't seen the old interviews you refer to, or the british tv trailers. Unless these are on the video tapes I bought from Brian Downey at 2007 megacon... which I will have to go find and look through again.

Do these interviews exist somewhere else?

They are on the season 1 UK DVDs as well. But other than that, I wondered myself, especially since they seem to be converted from an NTSC video. I'm not aware of any, though.
