Cluster, GMT is the bored's default, but you can set the time to whatever is appropriate. If you go to your profile you'll find the time zone settings towards the bottom of the page and can make the desired adjustment.

I was wondering...what does GMT mean?
...aaand, how would you know whether you were a + or a - ?

GMT- Greenwich Mean Time, the standard against which clocks around the world are set. If you go to the following site, ILK, it will tell you what your time is in relationship to GMT (e.g.: -05:00 or, in your case likely -06:00, meaning that your time is 5 or 6 hours behind GMT- if it's 10 p.m. in Greenwich and I'm -05:00 then it's 5p.m. in iStanario). You can then go to your profile on the bored and set your time accordingly.

Here's the site: http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/

We can thank that Great Canadian? Sir Sanford Fleming for the convenient, yet sometimes confusing, concept of time zones.

I'll go back to sleep now.

The gmt time is correct usually :)
But the clocks went forward an hour on Sunday.
So they've changed now :)

Sadly phpBB, the bored software, doesn't automatically adjust for daylight savings time, even though that has been a much requested feature. Members with an interest in keeping the correct time, therefore, have to go into their profile twice yearly and make the appropriate change.

ILK- glad to be of help and very glad, as always, to see your posts.
