Ok, please don't laugh, this is my first time ever dong this stuff. How can I get a picture from the "My Pictures" folder next to my username like everyone else?

Click on "Profile" at the top of the page, then scroll down to the bottom of the new page where it says "upload avatar from your machine" and click on "browse" or whatever the button says. Search for your "My Pictures" folder and open the pic you want, then click "submit".

And the limit for the picture size as your avatar is 100x100 pixels

Well thanx 4 ur help, but I think there is just something wrong with my computer, I have followed your directions exactly several times, & the size is within the limits.

Well after I click submit, it just shows me my profile template w/a blank where the image name should go. & it doesnt show up under my name.

Hmmm... strange. Works fine for me... The blank after you click the "submit" button is okay, did the name show before you clicked it?

Yes, it did, but then there is no avatar, frustrating...

Is your pic in .jpg or .gif format?
