Moving to new server - cost and all that lovely crap

I've decided to take advantage of the current hosting until it expires.
So, I would like to know how adverse people would be to helping with the server costs...

Until the current hosting runs out, I would like accumulate some 'funds' for the new server.
I've chosen Site5 hosting, as it is cheap, and appears to be fairly good.
Edit - HostNine. Cheaper rates for a longer amount of time. $142 for three years.

Site5 - For 2 years of hosting, it will cost $118.80. (same on Hostnine)

I think that if we all pitched in, it'll be a breeze ;)

I've set up a paypal account just for this.
    The email attached is disabledllama@gmail.com
If you send money to it, send it as a gift, that way paypal can't take as much out of it for 'fees'..

...Should I send emails to everyone who hasn't visited in donkeys years?

    Unfortunately, I don't have PayPal or a credit card. :( F***...

If there were a third party address I could send money too, I'd be willing to help a little. (Also, is that in US or AUS dollars?)

    www.hostnine.com is also very good.
I am currently using that. It looks pretty much the same as site5 hosting.
Hostnine support has given me pretty prompt turnaround with most glitches resolved within 30 minutes - 1 hour.
Linux shared hosting is what I use.
clusterlizard1 - You have some funds now too.

Paypal is shit easy to sign up to. And you don't need a Credit Card for it either, you can just use a normal bank account (usually takes about a week for the funds to transfer from a bank account to paypal).

Here is short tutorial on how to add a Bank Account. Signing up is straight forward.

I've assumed that Site5 is in US dollars, so the primary currency in the Paypal account is US dollars.

    I'll have a look at HostNine... ;)
Edit- Well, HostNine support php and MySQL... that's a good start.
And they have a cheaper rate plan for a longer ammount of time.

HostNine seems like the better choice... We'll have to get up to $142 instead though.
We have a year. I'm sure we can do it. :)

I sent some money. Little lexx is a great name. (scroll scroll to look at boobies again). You should put the boobies in the signature too, so people don't have to scroll up.
