    V

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0howTuY9B4 - the scene that totally hooked me to this show :)

Anyone else loving V? Because of how much I loved the new series, I even watched the original! And now I'm thrilled to hear that Diana will be back and be the same actress (although different character to fit the new story). Why is it so low-rated and not loved really, I think it will be just the next Dollhouse - an incredibly good and unrecognized series cancelled after season 2 :( I hope at least they finish their story, it's very annoying how american shows get cancelled without any conclusion. If I were in charge, I'd give all shows that I decided to cancel just one or 2 more episodes to finish their story as a big television event - how come noone has thought of that?!? Besides being a one-time television event, it would draw more ratings than a single ordinary episode. I'd really like to see that in V if they cancel it after season 2 :( Of course I'd most of all like to see it go on for many more series, because I love the psychology and the manipulative schemes in it! A bit more reveals about the aliens and their plan would be nice too :) And how about using real decors for the alien spaceship, since CGI is obviously not their strong side ;) I can't wait to see Anna back as the visitor queen, V is the only show from 2009 that I haven't been able to resist waiting for the entire season to download and watched weekly!

Noone writes here, does noone watch?

The second season disappoints me somewhat, it's not filled with tension as the first one.

I've only seen a few trailers for the old series. *was not impressed*.
It looks mildly interesting.... but I'm currently downloading SG1 (and then I'm probably gonna buy it), so I don't really have room for another series at the moment.

    Perhaps if I remember.

Also, that was one seriously lacking sex scene.... unless it was censored for youtube...?

It wasn't. It's two aliens having sex, Morena Baccarin being the queen to lay eggs after that sex. I think that was an awesome sex scene perfectly describing the aliens :)

After seeing the new series, I also watched the old ones, which also have their good moments, again with the aliens. The resistance is boring to death, but the constant internal affairs between the aliens were great fun!

Ive never seen the original but have stuck with this re-imagining even though its not one of the best series (overall) airing atm.

My main problem with it is the first 4-5 episodes were FAR too rushed, the first episode alone covered a 3 week span. I can see why they did what they did, to build tension at the end of that first episode. For people to go, "uh oh, these guys wanna kill us". I dont think it should have went that way though. Id of much prefered that first epsidoe was streatched out to be at least 2 episodes, if not 3. It jumped straight in with both feet, didnt test the water or anything, and although they have held stuff back and kept us guessing since ep5 those first few were really not as good as they could have been.

I wanted the constant "are they here to help or hinder" in the back of my head, I wanted to see peoples reactions to them a lot more; peoples stories followed and why they embraced/hated the V's for whatever reason. There wasnt much of that, we just got shown the V's, rushed through the process and 40 minutes later "oh btw they are bad guys".

As for the current season, I'm enjoying it much more than I did the first. The suspense and the tug of war game between the Anna and the Fifth column, Ryans seemingly fleeting loyalty, as well as the possibility of Anna finally giving into human emotion keep me coming back each week :)

Eps 5 and 6 from the new season are great :) I had forgotten how awesome Anna is when she's ruthless and cunning without all these human emotions, which I hate that get into her. The death was totally predictable and obvious.

Anyway, I hope the last half of the season gets great ratings and we get a season 3!

I think the new V is interesting. I am glad they brought back Jane Badler and Marc Singer ( Season finale), and that Lisa is starting to become autonomous ( This week's episode).

The new Melrose Place and VR5.

The original V built up the Visitors objectives, but the new V establishes it in minutes.

The Visitors agenda is starting to backfire. Since the 1950's the Visitors have been on Earth , studying humanity. What some of them didn't count on was developing feelings and a conscience ( Ryan and Valerie having a baby). To me this makes the new V interesting . Hopefully these last few episodes will be as interesting as this season has been.
