I know some of you will gag from the poor name choice but I love this TV series! Sure it's cheap but I like it way better than true blood which kept me mildly amused for awhile. I hate sooky or sucky as they call her now I noticed.
Any how though with episode 9 I'm wondering if the writers didn't just shoot them selves in the foot with the epic end of the world fail story line this has now transformed into! Should have just stuck with classic horror stories that happened in the murder house.

Well I do love tate or taint? I know I'm a dirty dirty cradle robber but hell I still like my eye candy. Plus I guess I like those gloomy, emo yet psychotic freak boys! Especially the one's who flip out and go on killing sprees! Also who have the magical ability to impregnate the living!

Well I love it any how and for something that's on FX and not a premium channel I think it deserves at least 4 stars. At least it's creative and original.

And I also like scaring the shit out of my 11 year old by calling pig man. "here piggy pig pig. Here piggy pig pig pig!"

Pissy pants wouldn't speak to me for an hour after I scared the shit out of her in the car one night! It was worth it though! Poor girl I owe her a cookie for my bad mommy moment there.

Just curious if any one else has seen this show and if I'm just insane and tasteless for liking it so much?

Nooooo you spoiled it :) I haven't seen ep 9 yet, I'm up to 8, but I love the series too :) It's strange and different and that's really what I need right now, because I'm tired of Lost and Twilight clones. I do wonder though, what would they show in season 2, so many people have died in this house. But it would be interesting to see the current family die and come back as ghosts next season to haunt a new family, that would be awesome :)

well I've been reading up on season 2.

I have no idea what the hair brained editors are doing. Season 2 will have nothing to do with season 1 appearently. It will take place in a new house and the old characters may show up with a different roll as some one else.

It's a moment that leaves me going WTF? why ruin a good thing? And I will miss tate the one redeming quality of this series.

I want to see more of Jessica Lange and the Antichrist :) But to be honest, the story of season 1 is pretty much over. It can be extended, but it can also be left this way. We'll see if the decision to do a different story was right when we see the new story :)

I'll still be watching season two but I will miss Constance. How can they get rid of her character? She won an award for that role. She deserves it. Hell she stole the leading female role and she doesn't even fit the holly wood standard of a leading female role.

I think we will see her again though. And I wasn't completely dis satisfied with the end of season 1. I'm just not sure about season two. Also I feel bad for tate but I guess he gets what he deserves ultimately. I want more gloomy and psychotic eye candy! Plus more gold to scare my daughter with.

I hope to see Constance and the Antichrist again too, but I doubt it.

Also, isn't Jessica Lange some huge movie star? If so, she probably wouldn't like to keep going on with the tv series either.

Not sure about Jessica langdon being a movie star. I haven't seen a lot of her. Well I do have a really REALLY old movie with her in it.

But I"m not holly wood expert either.

I hope she gets more roles in the future movies or TV. I think she has an amazing charisma for the camera.

Season 2 was AWESOME :) But again, they underused the demonic part - Lily Rabe should have had more screentime, she was amazing!

I don't know how I feel about this season. I think it could have had a better ending personally. I'm a stickler for endings. And what happened to once you go into briar cliff you never go out? Shouldn't all the characters have died there? Just my thoughts.

I also thought they had too many things going on at once. Like I thought they would do more Nazi stuff and in the end the stupid alien part seemed pointless. They should have focused on one two or possibly even three things. Like bloody face, the possessed nun I Liked, and maybe did more with the nazi stuff. That at least ties together some what.

Yes I"m a critic. Still I will be watching next season also. I'm still a fan of the show.
